THE KITCHEN
Our large airy kitchen has been revamped over the last few years to include a modern stainless steel look that is easy to work in and even easier to clean.
There are plenty of stainless steel work stations, two large pan sinks and a water geyser for boiling water.
We have a modern dishwasher that cycles in under three minutes and a catering microwave. The ovens have an extraction hood and there are separate fan vents.
A new fridge freezer was added last year.

WHEELCHAIR GARDEN
The home-made trugs are just the right height to be tended from a wheelchair. The trugs contain a mixture of herbs, flowers and fruit for use in the Centre

CAR PARK
Breedons relaid the car park so that we could provide decent access to self propelled wheelchairs. We also added floodlighting to the car park and drive

STORE ROOM
We keep extra chairs and tables in the store, along with a rack to store other clubs' equipment in boxes for storage between meetings

ACTIVITIES
The Stornoway Singers gave us a wonderful preview of their next Christmas Concert. We also put on talks and demonstrations for the Lunch Club.

STORNOWAY AMENITIES TRUST
One cold night in November 2017 we were told that the guest speaker at the dinner would be late arriving. Panic mode in the Kitchen! Even worse, I was dragged away from the Kitchen to Perceval Square to find that we had been awarded the George Newhall Shield for our contribution to the amenity of Stornoway. So proud of everyone in the Centre!
